What is FALL OUT TOY WORKS?
FALL OUT TOY WORKS is a five issue comic book series distributed by Image Comics. The initial concept for the series was created by Pete Wentz
(bassist and lyricist for the band Fall Out Boy) and Darren Romanelli (aka Doctor Romanelli
, primarily known for his fashion work and successful reimaginings of classic franchises such as Beetle Bailey, Looney Tunes, and Fraggle Rock). The creative scope of the comic later grew to include the rest of Fall Out Boy
(Patrick Stump, Joe Trohman, and Andy Hurley), Nathan Cabrera (frequent Romanelli collaborator and friend of Pete's), the writer Brett Lewis (known for his work on The Winter Men and Bulletproof Monk), and the Indonesian based artistic powerhouse known as Imaginary Friends Studios
Inspired by the ideas and lyrics of Fall Out Boy, Fall Out Toy Works brings the magic of innocence to life as both a toy maker and his invention set about learning the true secrets of life. But in the dark future of Los Angeles, where the megalomaniac Baron has a stranglehold on all industry and blocked the very sun from the skies, can the dream of the Toymaker and Tiffany truly flourish?HOW LONG IS IT?/HOW MUCH IS IT?/WHERE CAN I GET IT?

The motion comic has been delayed past its original release in 2010, but still appears to be in production as of April 2013
, now also under the banner of Quality Transmedia, which "focuses on branded entertainment it can incubate in the digital space and shift to broadcast and film". Hmmm, sounds interesting...
There are shirts available from Fall Out Boy's GoMerch store and a very limited
set of Fall Out Toy Works jackets made by Romanelli (one for each main character) were sold through Pete's clothing line, Clandestine Industries a while back (good luck getting a hand on one of those!)
The release of FOTW toys has been put into consideration since the beginning. No news on them as of yet.
Potentially in the works. Very hush hush.
As Pete Wentz has said before, there might be a few more surprises in store besides just these things. Keep an eye out!
